Idols stripped adrift
on muddy turbulence of continual flow
like some bloated carcass .

oh!! how

we are made to live it
on struts of bamboo spine.
on teeth of rusted nails.
on entrails of straw .

oh !!how

In orgy of pigs blood
Those vermilion faces whine.

Naturally I disappointed all in the immersion ghat with this act of heresy .
Naturally the married & vermillioned ones did'nt take it cool.

MY JUSTIFICATION :
Now i have read the original ECO :THE NAME OF THE ROSE.The title which i couldnt fathom...which i finally did ,the end is certainly not what holywood shows !!but did capture the essence in the last scene though.
I guess not by design but more by accident .Confused?that is the philosophy of the tale. U hav 2 read the book till the last word to dig it out . It is in the last line of Barnard OF Morley's poetry,which like life is ravishingly arcane.Something of which is perhaps understood at the end.
this book has been my muse all this puja ideal hours and finally at immersion ghat i think i got the name or the poetry.
"Stat rosa pristina nomine; nomina nuda tenemus."

(Yesterday's rose endures in its name; we hold empty names.)
— meaning that in this imperfect world, the only imperishable things are ideas.
