PRELUDE 2 JACKKIE

Drft...Wud

Trapped in a dream
living it in pain

painting it all
in charcoal stains

bringing up a dawn
from the nights spawn

Am searching for a star
in the abyss of a black hole far

if life is a function
of time space and dream
the constant is a black charcoal

all the big bang and string
like transient scartch & scream
are but mind's frill

on the canvass of Universe
black and still.

so what is a MIND then
a puppet show of molecules
fidgetty and gay
sometime dead,sometimes on play.

and as i say so
theres a meteor that streaks the sky
a child squabbles with dye
a man writes his final deed
a frenzied waltz in a kicking feet

and that some ONE abstracted
who watches Jackkie's

"Portrait and a Dream"

when he was a jackass
and when he is Him

JACKKIE THE JACK ASS

PORTRAIT AND DREAM by
JACKSON POLLOCK

Pollock said the head on the right of this painting was a portrait of himself “when I’m not sober”.
head on the left
"In his hour – when he had his hour – Pollock believed the mess inside him was somehow communicable and beautiful. Then, it was. Now, separate from this chaos of dreams, he contemplates its violence, menace, tangled psychosexual mayhem, as baffled as we are."
